Hostel Facilities

     The institute has a separate hostel for boys and girls with capacity of accommodating 100 girls and 150 boys. Hostel also include the features like, Television Halls, Desert Coolers, uninterrupted Power Supply, Security Arrangements and 24 hrs water supplies etc..

 

Sports

The collage has spacious play grounds with courts for Basketball, Volleyball and Badminton Indoor games like billiard chess and carom are also available.

Dhuri, Sunam, and malerkotla for the day scholars

For the convenience of students and staff members banking facility has been provided in the campus.

At campus stationary shop exists. Students can purchase required textbooks, course material, instructional and stationary supplies as well as other general items to meet the needs of student fraternity.

Internet Browsing Center

Assignments and Seminars are a compulsory part of the curriculum. Students are encouraged to do better each time. Assistance is extended by the computer laboratories by allowing students to access Internet, during free time.

 

Library

Learning environment is at its stretch in a library. Polytechnic possesses over 3000 books on Engineering subjects and allied subjects. Library avails the Subscriptions of leading newspapers, journals, including business and computer magazines and CDs.

 

Co-Curricular Activities

To encourage the over-all development of the students, cultural activities form an integral part of the semester curriculum. For instance, on 15th dec.’05 an “ Anti- Drug Awareness Campaign” was organized by BGP to make the students aware of the hazards of Drug Addiction. Students participated in various activities like paper reading, poster presentation, skits and solo song competitions and made the whole event an eye-opener for the audiences. The occasion was graced by Dr. K.C. Garg (DHO), Sangrur and Dr. Pradeep Kumar from Red-Cross Society ,Drug De-addiction Department.
